15 Acres of Optimism

A Community Vision

In December, 2010, a 15-acre parcel of land in Bailey was donated to The "I Love U Guys" Foundation. What the future holds for this property is still uncertain, but some very creative ideas have been presented. Ideally this could fulfill the foundation's need to establish a more suitable operating headquarters to support our rapidly expanding network of schools, institutions, and emergency services utilizing the flagship programs, the Standard Response Protocol and Standard Reunification Method.

Benefit to All

Besides being our headquarters, we believe this property could benefit the Bailey community. Encompassed on the property could be meeting rooms, a theater, catering kitchen and other facilities for clubs, fundraisers, galas, and other local events. We would also like to construct a hiking trail and pavilion so people can enjoy the beauty of the property with its spectacular view of the Kenosha Mountain Range.

The foundation has also already shown that we will, at minimum, be good stewards of this land as evidenced by the wildfire mitigation and forest cleanup efforts that have been in progress over the last several years. This parcel previously sat unmanaged and unused for many years, and our community appreciates efforts like those demonstrated by our volunteers, especially those local Boy Scouts who elected to work on mitigating the property as their Eagle Scout Project. Planning

In order to develop anything on the property we are going to need to raise some funds. We hope to independently fund construction through donations and the purchase of 'honor bricks'. As we are still in the early stages, please check back here or contact us for more information at

You don't choose tragedy.
