Emergency Responders 5K Run
The morning of Emily's Parade is celebrated with a Memorial Run and Walk in honor of all first responders who dedicate their lives to helping others. The course is on and around Platte Canyon property which retains the essence of a real cross country run. With a diverse combination of runners and walkers including first responders, clubs such as "Girls on the Run" and community members, this is a unique autumn run.
Your participation is an honor to us and our community. There is a suggested donation to participate and people are encouraged to sponsor their friends and family in this Memorial Run. Proceeds will be distributed responsibly and effectively toward the stated goals of The "I Love U Guys" Foundation. Please see How We Do It

ER::5K participants should park in the ball field parking lot on the south side of Highway 285, overflow parking will be at Fitzsimmons Middle School; just look for signs directing you to the parking area. Register and check in on the practice field near the balloon arch between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. The Run begins at 10:30, ending back at the practice field where prizes will be awarded.
The ER::5K coincides with The Ride
- a motorcycle ride beginning at Columbine High School. Both the Run and the Ride will ultimately converge at Platte Canyon High School for food, music and good times.
