Standard Response Protocol (SRP), K-12 Schools
The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is a response enhancement for all hazards, designed to provide consistent, clear, shared language and actions among all students, staff and first responders. It is action based, and allows organizations, first responders, and parents to share a specific vocabulary for quick and coordinated action. It acts as a tool for training which develops the muscle memory necessary to appropriately act in moments of crisis.
The SRP is based on five actions: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter.
SRP for Business
Developed for a working professional environment, the SRP for business helps organizations of any size formalize incident response procedures in working environments. It provides clarity by articulating a common language and a simple process that is easily understood by busy professionals.
SRP for Higher Ed
Higher education institutions have unique needs in creating a safe campus environment: multiple buildings, larger areas, and autonomous adult students. SRP for Higher Ed helps higher ed institutions plan for and create a safe campus through action-based, simple-to-understand directives and icons.
SRP for Municipalities
Clear guidance on actions to be taken by all occupants of a city facility in the event of a crisis is critical for staff and visitor safety. This SRP allows municipalities of all sizes to plan and provide a consistent and clear shared language with actions for occupants of municipal buildings. The protocol provides a template for training in these environments as well, enhancing emergency response programs already in place.
Standard Reunification Method
Accountable reunification of students with parents or guardians is an absolutely critical piece to emergency response, but often an overlooked one. The Standard Reunification Method (SRM) provides school and district safety teams with proven methods to plan, practice and achieve a successful reunification amid what can be chaotic circumstances.
Standard Distribution Method
Developed in response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Standard Distribution Method (SDM) is a program to help distribute food and learning materials in a safe and orderly manner in a school or community crisis. Like all our programs, the SDM was developed hand-in-hand with experts in the field.
